Great Wolf Lodge

Two Gensler teams (Atlanta - Interiors and Los Angeles - Entertainment Design) teamed up with the Architect of Record Stantec (Chicago - Core and Shell, Construction Documents) to develop the 480,000 s.f. Great Wolf Lodge location in Perryville, Maryland. This location carries on the design tradition of "The Story of the Lodge", crafted experiential hospitality spaces that are stitched into a themed environment to create a "Journey of Discovery" for all guests, established by Gensler's design of the Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange, Georgia. Our team built upon this branded themed experience further developing or rebranding 8 food & beverage outlets, 7 retail venues, dry play attractions, family entertainment center, themed public areas, ballroom and meeting spaces, hotel, and 6 guest room/suite types. Documentation on this page includes photos from the similar Great Wolf Lodge location in LaGrange, Georgia, as Perryville is yet to be constructed, as well as documentation produced for the Family Suite guest room type.

Roles and Responsibilities: Project Architect, BIM Manager - Oversight and technical direction of set documentation, coordination of team staffing and tasking, internal team QAQC and code reviews, coordination of office QAQC and technical reviews, coordination with team designers for documentation development of client brand standards and new concept developments, primary documentation lead on guest rooms, developed interiors prototype model to be adapted to multiple project sites for increased efficiency, coordination with the entertainment design team at Gensler Los Angeles, coordination with architect of record.
