Reverb by Hard Rock
Reverb by Hard Rock at Castleberry Hill in Atlanta is the first location of the Hard Rock brand's new line of smart hotels. The design of the Reverb is developed to create a hub space for music lovers to gather and collaborate. This location features 195 guestrooms, a co-working space, live music performances, a coffee bar, and a rooftop bar overlooking the Mercedes Benz Stadium and on to Downtown and Midtown Atlanta. Total area: 140,000 s.f. over 11 stories.
Roles and Responsibilities: Technical Designer - Construction Administration - Provided assistance to the main construction administration effort as needed for Submittals, RFI's (requests for information), and Bulletins requiring redesign due to various reasons from site conditions to value engineering, or design changes. Areas that I assisted with include the main lobby reflected ceiling plan, the coffee bar millwork, the rooftop bar millwork, all unisex restrooms, the exterior porte cochere entry, the exterior façade, and the roof. I have provided below a few examples of these redesign drawings, namely the porte cochere canopy and the unisex restroom vanities.
